Hello Everyone!
Welcome to my blog. I am so excited and nervous to be starting this. It’s always been something I’ve been interested in, in fact when I first really considered writing a blog I wanted it to be about my experience as a nanny. Now that I am not a nanny anymore I decided that I would talk about my life experiences instead so here I am! For those who don’t know me, I’ll let you in on who I am and a little bit about me. I am 24 years old and grew up in Portland, Oregon. I am the youngest of three and the only girl. My brothers and I grew up playing sports and we spent a lot of time outside especially in the summers whether it was camping, exploring the neighborhood, hiking or going to the coast, it felt like we were always outside going on adventures. I’d say I was the most spicy and outgoing kid out of all of us and would say that still rings true today. I moved out of my parents house after high school to pursue college basketball at the JUCO level. After my two years of community college I moved back in with my parents for a year worked with some amazing people, and started working towards my bachelors. After that year was up, I transitioned to online school and moved to Arizona. While in Arizona I finished up my degree, worked for an amazing family who is basically my second family, and got a dog. I lived in Arizona for two years before I moved back home with my parents, which is where I am at today, while living at home I am working towards my Masters Degree and working as an administrative assistant at a small law firm. I recently started volunteering with special needs people and it has been such a fun experience.
I want to use this blog as a space to talk about my journey through life and provide a safe space for people like me who don’t have it all figured out. Being in your twenties is not easy and there’s so much pressure to have it together all time. I want to be a reminder for all that it’s okay to not have it together and to enjoy your time in your twenties because you’ll figure it out as you go!
